Image Source What is up today sports fans let discuss another basketball topic here on NBA EXPRESS, and today is a disappointing loss for the Golden State Warriors especially for their all-star D’Angelo Russell who scored his career high 52 points. The Warriors were leading 110-106 with only 29 seconds left in the last quarter but the effort of the Twolves made the game into overtime period after Karl-Anthony Towns made his two free throws and a forced jump ball by Robert Covington which led to Wiggins driving basket which tied the game. Andrew Wiggins made all clutch shots and recorded 40 points 5 boards and 7 dimes to go along with three blocks that seal the deal despite an outstanding performance from DLO. KAT also contributed 20 points and 14 boards and struggling all throughout the game with foul troubles. Russell’s performance came to naught after an all-around game where also able snatched the ball thrice ending up with 3 steals and 2 blocks where Russell is not known to be a good defensive player. The absence of Steph Curry, Draymond Green and ofcourse Klay Thompson made the Warriors create Russell either for the future or a great trade chip.
